Run like the wind they told him at a young age, run for there is much evil happening around us. Loving parents' advice is meant to protect and shelter the child from life and its darker truths. Little did they know, that he would never stop running, he would never learn to, always afraid of what might catch up with him. Not realizing that the war is over, the battles fought. No, he keeps to himself, not allowing anyone to join his path or tie him down. He longs for what he fears, he rejects what he seeks and embraces a life afloat, like a butterfly that never touches the ground, he flies to exhaustion. There are many layers to the orange, but he doesn’t allow anyone to peel them away, nor does he attempt to peel them. To him his life has been war, he knows no peace, nor does he know how to find it.
Maybe it’s too late, maybe changes would turn his world upside down and he would be lost in his own jungle.
So run tiger run, until your paws are soar, and then run some more. Run to hide or run to find…. only you know, what brings you joy.
Maybe it's time to give up, some long to find peace but always position themselves at the exit to escape!
