“What defines us, is how well we rise after we fall”.
A great speech or catchy phrase has the power to ignite a fire, end a war, give warmth to a wounded soul. It speaks to its listeners or readers, it touches them deep in their soul. It opens the pathway to the emotions of the reader and its writer. A great quote will have a different meaning to the reader, depending on the stage of their life and emotional/ mental capacity they are in.
I have made it a habit to write down quotes, sayings etc. that speak to me whenever I come across them. They come in handy when you are writing a card or you need that extra bit of motivation, inspiration or just to add to your general knowledge. Here are a few of the ones I have collected in 2020, not all are eloquent, however, poignant to certain situations. These are not the classic quotes but rather ones you don't come by daily, hopefully, they shall inspire you. I have split them into four articles to sure they can be fully appreciated. This one will focus on life wisdoms:
